Bovada Poker Vegas VIP Experience $10k Freerolls

Yesterday we told you about the current Vegas VIP Experience promotion happening over at Bovada Poker where players can vie to win 1 of 2 prize packages each worth $5k to Las Vegas. What we left out, however, was that while you’re on the road to earning tickets in the drawing where the Vegas VIP Experience will be awarded, you can also earn tickets in $10k in weekly freeroll tournaments.

There will be four freeroll tournaments in all in this promotion, each taking place on a Tuesday in June 2012 and starting at 8:35 pm ET. To earn a seat in these freerolls, just earn at least 5 grand prize entries in the Bovada Poker Vegas VIP Experience promotion in the week leading up to a given freeroll.

So for the June 5th freeroll, earn 5 tickets between May 28 and June 3; for the June 12th freeroll, earn 5 tickets between June 4 and 10; for the June 19 freeroll, earn 5 ticketx between June 11 and 17; and for the June 26 freeroll, earn 5 tickets between June 18 and 24. Each freeroll has a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The best part is, that however you fare in the freerolls, you’ll still have those grand prize drawings for one of those $5,000 trips to Vegas.

Players who meet the qualifications for entry into any of the freerolls will receive an email sent to them automatically on the Monday preceding that freeroll with an invitation to play and instructions on how to register.

Pokerstars Now Holding 100k Depositor Freerolls

For a limited time only, Poker Stars will be holding $100,000 worth of freeroll tournaments with the only entry requirement being a deposit into a new or existing Pokerstars real money player account. Not just that, but you’ll be entered to play in 31 of these daily freeroll tournaments, and when that 31 days runs out, you can make a deposit for the next batch of days. The 100K Depositor Freeroll series runs through May 20, which means all deposits made before that time will be eligible for at least part of this bonus reward, with April 19 designated as the last day to receive the maximum 31 freeroll entries.

Just remember to use the appropriate bonus code when you make your deposit in order to be credited your 31 freeroll entries. Bovada Adds $15,000 in Freerolls to Monthly Calendar

In recent posts, we’ve alerted you to numerous big money-winning opportunities at Bovada Poker, including the Cash PerSuit for the site’s cash ring game players and the $750,000 Guaranteed Bovada Black Diamond Poker Open, running now through April 1, 2012. Now we’ve got another one for you: this a new regular on the Bovada Poker calendar, a pair of monthly freeroll tournaments each promising $7.5k guaranteed in prize money, for a total of $15k in monthly freeroll tournaments.

Rather than accepting cash to buy into the monthly freerolls or the qualifiers awarding seats in them, BovadaPoker is taking Poker Points, or PTS for short. Each $7.5k freeroll has a 1k PTS buy-in. But players can win seats in a $7.5k freeroll for much less. Pay just 25 PTS and enter a daily turbo qualifier, from which the best 15 will advance to the $7.5k freeroll. For 150 PTS, you can play in a sit and go freeroll qualifier, running around the clock, with 6 players per event. Or pay 200 PTS and enter a turbo qualifier, also from which the best 15 players will advance.

The $7.5k freerolls themselves take place on the second and last Saturdays of the month and twenty percent of the playing field gets paid out.

Carbon Poker 25k Bankroll Booster Freeroll!

Punch your ticket to the Carbon Poker 25K Bankroll Booster Freeroll this February 2012.  This great event is scheduled for February 26, 2012.  Players cannot just show up and expect to play, however.  They must win their way into the big show.  Do not despair, there are many ways to get in on the fun.

Get in through open freerolls.  Carbon Poker will be running three freerolls ever day January 29 thru February 25, 2012. The top ten players in each of the 13:30, 17:30 and 21:30 freerolls will win tickets.  These freerolls feature only a 1,000 chip starting stack and a very fast paced 5 minute blind level.  Be fast, be lucky and good luck.

Win your way in through special restricted VIP points qualifiers.  Players who play on Carbon Poker regularly will accumulate VIP points.  Attain certain levels and automatically be eligible for these qualifiers.   All points earned since 00:01 the previous day count towards eligibility for the VIP POINTS EARNED Qualifiers. For example if you wanted to enter the Tuesday 16:30 75 points freeroll you need to earn 75 points between Monday 00:01 and Tuesday 16:29 and click the “Register” button.  The top 10 finishers will be awarded an entry coupon to the 25k Bankroll Booster Freeroll. You can track your qualification for all tournaments in your Player Admin.

There are no coupons issued to these events, if you qualify, you can register.  As stated above, check Player Admin to see how close you are.

Poker Stars Launches $100,000 Depositor Freerolls

Pokerstars is now holding four special freeroll tournaments per day, each with a $1,000 guaranteed prize pool. To earn tickets into all of these freerolls for a 31-day period, a player need only make a deposit into their real money PokerStars player account. This promotion is open to new and existing players both.

New players should use the promo code STARS600 when making their deposit so that they’re also still eligible to receive the regular Poker Stars new player bonus: a 100% match up to $600. Existing players making this deposit as a reload deposit should just use the code 100K.

Whether a new or current PokerStars player, after your initial 31 days of four $1,000 freerolls per day is complete, simply reload your account with an additional deposit and you get to play in all the freerolls for the next 31 days.

You can do this once per month, allowing you, if you wish, to play in all 4 daily $1k freerolls indefinitely.

PokerStars’ $1,000 Freerolls utilize a freebuy format which means that within the first 1 hour of play, any player can rebuy as much as they want for a cost of $0.30 each time. That $0.30, of course, is then added to the prize pool.

The $1,000 Freerolls can be found in the PokerStars lobby under Tourney and Freeroll tabs and take place at 04:00, 10:00, 15:00 and 21:00 ET each day.

Carbon Poker Holds $10,000 Chip King Freerolls This November

This November, Carbon Poker is holding a series of freeroll tournaments called Chip King Freerolls with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000.

The Carbon Poker Chip King promotion starts November 1, 2011 with the first weekly freeroll taking place on Saturday, November 6. From there, every Saturday another freeroll will be held with the only entry requirements being that the interested players opt-in to the $10K Chip King Freeroll promotion at the Carbon Poker Player Admin control panel using the Activate Promo button. To qualify you also have to earn at least 50 VIP points during the month, but that gains you entry into all 4 of the month’s freerolls.

The Chip King Freeroll prize pool increases as the month progresses. For the November 6th freeroll, the prize pool was $1,000. For the second week’s freeroll, held on November 13, the prize pool is $1,500. The qualification period for this event is November 1 – 11. Week three has a qualification period of November 1 – 18 and the freeroll on November 20 has a $2,500 prize pool. The last freeroll of this month’s Chip King promotion takes place on November 27 featuring a $5,000 prize pool. With a qualification period from November 1 – 25, this event is only for the fifty top VIP points earners. Carbon Poker will keep a leaderboard throughout the month tracking players’ progress in earning VIP points to see who will make it to the $5,000 Top 50 Chip King Final.

Each freeroll starts at 16:00 and players’ starting stacks are customized in accordance with their VIP points earned by that time. For example, if you earn 50 – 99.9 VIP points, you start out with 250 chips, while if you earn over 500 – 999.9 VIP points, you start out with 1,000 chips.

Cake Poker Launches $60,000 Gold Club Tournaments Series

This August, 2011, Cake Poker introduces the $60,000 Gold Club Tournaments Series, comprising dozens of tournaments with big prize pools and Gold Card buy-ins. The total cash prize pool guaranteed in the Gold Club Tournament Series over the course of the month is $45,000 with an additional $15,000 Finale Freeroll open to all Cake Poker players who compete in at least 10 of the series’ events.


There will be no cash buy-ins for any of the tournaments in this series; only Gold Cards. More, only Gold Cards suited clubs are eligible for entry into these events. It only takes one Gold Card to enter any given event, but it has to be the right Gold Card. Sometimes the Gold Card Series matters as well, with some entries open to Gold Cards from all series (such as any year’s 7 of clubs) and others open only to Gold Cards from a certain year (such as the ’09 series 7 of clubs).


All Gold Card tournaments start at 22:00 GMT, or 6 pm EST. The festivities begin on Thursday, August 4 with a $5,000 guaranteed tournament with a buy-in of any series 2 of clubs Gold Card. One Gold Card Tournament Series event takes place every day, seven days a week, after that, through the end of August, with each Wednesday’s event being another $5,000 guaranteed. The $15,000 Finale Freeroll then takes place on Friday, September 2.The prize pool in the $15,000 Finale Freeroll will be divided evenly among the top 3 finishers, each getting $5,000 for their efforts.
