Cake Poker Hosts English Poker Open $250K Guarantee Satellites

Cake Poker is now hosting satellite tournaments into the 2012 English Poker Open, a $250,000 guaranteed event taking place at the Fox Poker Club in London, England from September 18 to 22, 2012.

Cake Poker’s 2012 English Poker Open satellites start with buy-ins of just $2. Players can choose to enter the CakePoker English Poker Open $5k Final directly for $33 on Sundays at 4 pm ET. At each of these rebuy/add-on events 1 player will win an EPO 2012 prize package for every $5k in the prize pool.

Players can also enter English Poker Open Satellites daily for buy-ins starting at just $2. These events also have rebuys and add-ons and advance one player to the $5k finals for every $33 in the prize pool.

Then there are Gold Card Satellites and Gold Chip Satellites with dates and buy-ins still to be declared. Visit the Cake Poker site to check for updates on the dates and buy-in costs for these events.

Winners of Cake Poker English Poker Open 2012 satellites will receive a $5,000 prize package that includes the $1,800 buy-in for EPO Main Event, $2,200 deposited into your Cake Poker account to aid you with travel and accommodation expenses, and invitation to the exclusive English Poker Open Welcome Party taking place September 17, and some official Team Cake gear to don during the tournament.

In addition to the $250K guaranteed main event, the English Poker Open also features cash games each evening of the event that attending players can choose to take part in.

Cake Poker EPO Freerolls

Cake PokerCake Poker is holding freerolls to qualify for an English Poker Open package valued at $7,000. these freerolls do not start running until August 01, 2010 but they will probably be full soon since every one of them is open for registration right now. There is only one seat to the freeroll final game awarded per freeroll, and only one $7,000 package awarded in the final, but it is free. There are also 1 gold chip games that will award one seat to the final. These, of course, will be far less populated. Anyone gets into the final, let us know so we can rail you. And sign up for all the freerolls now before they are full. The plus side to all this is the final looks to be a 20 player winner take all event on August 22, 2010 at 3:30 pm et. So make it in, and you have an excellent chance of winning.
