America’s Cardroom Offers $15,000 Secret Santa Jackpot

The holidays are already in full swing over at America’s Cardroom, with a number of festive promotions such as the $15,000 Secret Santa jackpot. This is no ordinary jackpot either, in that it isn’t only available to one lucky winner. Rather every single player at America’s Cardroom stands to earn up to $15,000 all for themselves in cash and prizes. Better yet, the Secret Santa jackpot promotion is running at America’s Cardroom all month long throughout December 2011 and January 2012.

It’s a simple jackpot to accumulate. Just collect Frequent Player Points (FPPs) by playing at America’s Cardroom’s real money cash ring game tables throughout the two-month promotional period. Every time you hit a milestone number of points, you earn a prize. After your first 2,500 FPPs you earn a $5 prize, and then another $5 after you earn another 2,500 points. From there you earn your next prize, a mystery “Special Surprise” for 3,000 FPPs. From there the prizes and the points requirements keep increasing, each prize added to the prizes you already earned ahead of it.

America’s Cardroom awards players 1 FPP for every penny in rake they generate at the cash game tables.

The best part of all of this, perhaps, is that you don’t even have to give up your FPPs to collect the jackpots they earn you. You keep the prizes and the FPPs, giving you the opportunity to reap additional value from each of those FPPs in the future.

America’s Cardroom Holds $250K ACROSS Warm-Up Event

Earlier in the month we told you about the upcoming America’s Cardroom Online Super Series, known as ACROSS for short. Now, America’s Cardroom introduces a one-day only, special Thanksgiving warm-up for the Online Super Series with a $25K GTD prize pool. The event takes place at 21:00 ET tomorrow, Thursday, November 24, 2011, and costs $55 to enter. Players can opt out of paying that $55 buy-in by winning their ACROSS Warm-Up Event seat in an online qualifier.

Buy-ins for these qualifiers, which run throughout the day from now until the event itself, are either $2.20, $3.30 or $5.50. All Online Super Series Warm Up Satellites allow one or more rebuys and add-ons and are run as turbo tournaments.

ACROSS, or the America’s Cardroom Online Super Series of poker 2011 takes place across the 6-day period of November 29th through December 4th and is made up of 19 Texas Hold’em and Omaha tournaments.

Other promotions that America’s Cardroom is running in conjunction with or preparation for this series are bonus points toward the $65,000 Points Race awarded for registering in any ACROSS event.

There will also be four bonus opportunities running throughout the series: a Kings of Cashing bonus for the top 10 highest cashers in the series, a Multiple Cashes Bonus for everyone cashing at least twice, a Bubble Boy Bonus for finishing on the bubble and a $25K Warm-Up Event Bonus giving everyone who participates in the Thanksgiving Day ACROSS Warm-Up event a seat in a bonus freeroll tournament scheduled for 15:00 ET on November 25.

America’s Cardroom Gears Up for Online Super Series Across America 2011

America’s Cardroom is gearing up for its Online Super Series, otherwise known as Across 2011. It takes place November 29 through December 4, 2011 and promises $150,000 in guaranteed prizes, including cold hard cash, and featuring a main event with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.

In all, America’s Cardroom will be hosting 19 events over the course of 6 days in the 2011 Online Super Series, including events in both Texas Hold’em and Omaha. There will also be a warm-up tournament with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool taking place on Thanksgiving itself. In addition, players can look forward to a variety of contests awarding cash, FPPs and tournament seats also peppered throughout the series.

Buy-ins for Across 2011 seats range from $3.30 to $109, except for a few events that only allow buy-ins in frequent player points, 550 FPPs to be exact. This includes the $500 guaranteed opening event and a $1,000 rebuy/add-on event.

As an added treat, the main event is actually the 18th of 19 events, with a sepcial Last Chance Turbo NLH Deep Stack event taking place after the 4:05 pm ET main event on Sunday, December 4 at 7:05 pm ET.

In addition to the $25K Warm-Up Event Bonus, the other contests that are part of the Across 2011 Online Super Series at Americas Cardroom includes the Kings of Cashing, awarding seats in the $15,000 guaranteed deep stack Sunday event to the top 10 highest cashers in the series, a Multiple Cashes Bonus of seats in a special $1,000 freeroll event for everyone who cashes in a minimum of two events, and a Bubble Boy Bonus will refund the buy-in, either in cash or FPPs as applies, to anyone who finishes on the bubble.

Celebrate a Happy Halloween at America’s Cardroom

America’s Cardroom, recent acquirers of Doyle’s Room Poker, is celebrating Halloween this year with a big ole party. The America’s Cardroom Halloween Party happens, of course, on October 31, during which time players at any of America’s Cardroom’s tables or tournaments will earn double the number of points they ordinarily would for playing those same games at the same stakes for the same lengths of time.

In addition America’s Cardroom is also gearing up for this Halloween double points extravaganza with a Special Halloween Freeroll tournament taking place a few days prior to the big event, on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 6:00 pm ET. Participants in this event will be competing for one of ten seats into the America’s Cardroom $3,500 Guaranteed tournament that takes place later that evening at 9:00 pm ET.
