Bwin Poker is inviting all its fiercest players to show off your class and step into the ring. No, not a cash ring game. A boxing ring. Its the Bwin Poker Contender contest and it offers are comers-on the chance to win a share of up to $20,000.
Players earn market points by playing as normal at Bwin Poker’s cash games and tournaments. Earn at least 100 of those market points and you place yourself in a weight class, Flyweight through Heavyweight. Each weight class offers its members a seat in an exclusive freeroll tournament. Players advance to higher weight classes by earning target numbers of market points. The higher the market points, the higher the weight class, the higher the prize pool for the associated freeroll tournament.
The flyweight class, for 100 points, offers seats in a $1,000 freeroll while the heavyweight class, which takes 75,000 points to achieve, awards seats in a $20,000 freeroll. In between those are featherweight for 1,500 points and a $1,500 freeroll seat, welterweight for 5,000 points and a $2,500 freeroll seat, middleweight for 15,000 points and a $5,000 freeroll seat, and cruiserweight for 30,000 points and a $10,000 freeroll seat.
Players will only win seats in the highest valued freeroll for which they are eligible. All freerolls will takes place on the second Saturday of the following month at 18:00 GMT+1.
Only members of Bwin’s b’inside player loyalty and rewards program are eligible to participate in this promotion. The Contender runs monthly at Bwin Poker.
